I actually finished this scene in early October but was unable to finish rendering and postwork it until mid-October due to the surgery I had to have done on my right arm and then the subsequent recovery time. I’m still recovering, technically, but I managed to get this finished today. I haven’t created any still life artworks in a while, so I figured it was time and this was the first idea that popped out to me from my notebook of ideas I had sketched out from before. Not really any big story behind this piece other than it’s finally autumn and I love apples.
