I tried creating a holiday scene similar to this last year, but it didn’t turn out quite right, so I never published it. This year I gave the scene another try and finally nailed it thanks to an awesome new Christmas tree model, a new dynamic sweater with textures by me, and finally getting the lighting and postwork right. To be honest, the raw render looks quite boring and dim. It was only in postwork that this scene truly became alive and what you see here.
