I created this scene as my first entry to this year’s Renderosity Halloween Contest. I’ve actually had this sketched out in my Notebook of Ideas since at least last year, maybe the year before that. Anyway, now it’s been created… and the more I look at it, the more I worry that it’s just not good enough. Mom, my resident horse-riding expert, helped me with this by nitpicking the hell out of this scene (which I requested) and telling me how to make the horse and its headless rider look better. I hope I did okay. When I read the rules for this contest, it said I could also submit older images as long as they haven’t been previously submitted to one of Renderosity’s past contests. So, I am finally rectifying an error I made in 2016 by finally entering Specter of the Newlywed to the contest. We shall see how both of these images do in the contest.
