I’ve been in creative (and creation) overdrive since the end of December 2023 and it shows no signs of slowing down just yet. So, I have a lot to show you in this post! I will hopefully have even more to show you by next month. Now, onto the previews!
First up is Tatiana for La Femme 2. Like my first character for La Femme 2, Eleanor, her looks were inspired by one of my favorite actresses. She includes a wide variety of makeup options in two sets, “Drama” and “Soft”. Also included are eyebrow and eyelash options in 4 styles each with 3 hair colors for each style. I hand-sculpted her face and body morphs. Her body morph is a little tricky to conform things to, she’s slightly shorter than the default La Femme 2. I’ll include info in the ReadMe file on how to use her body morph with both conforming and dynamic clothing plus hair figures and props. She is pretty much completed. I just need to write that ReadMe then package her files and submit her to Renderosity. So as not to create a flood, I’ll probably release her closer to the end of this month.
This is Hannah for La Femme 2 who was inspired by my Harper character for La Femme 1. Hannah has her own uniquely sculpted face and body morphs. Some of her makeups were adapted (then improved upon) from my Harper character. I then added several brand-new makeups exclusively for Hannah. All of her makeups include metallic areas such as the lips and eye shadows plus certain other parts of her makeup designs. She also includes brand-new nail polish options with improved shaders and five tattoos. Hannah is in the same state of completion as Tatiana; all files and promos are finished. I just need to package and submit her to Renderosity. I’m thinking it best for Hannah to be released in February.
Next up is my first new clothing texture set of the new year. These textures are for the Yarah Dress for La Femme 2 by RPublishing. I created each dress with different floral style fabrics and laces. The lace accents on each dress include transparency maps. There are six dress designs in all. I’m thinking I may make this a Prime product since I haven’t made one of those in quite a while. I’m quite happy with the main promo I made for this set (seen at left) as it turned out to be much better than what I had originally planned to do. No exact ETA on release date except that it will probably be either January or February at the latest.
This clothing texture set is for the Boho Dress 3 for La Femme 2 by RPublishing. I created a special fabric shader for this set to replicate the look of dupioni silk, thus the name of the set, “Bohemian Dupioni”. The dresses were crafted with a variety of abstract, boho style fabrics with matching lace accents. There are a total of eight dress designs in this set. The transparency maps for the lace accents are interchangeable so you can select any type lace on any of the dresses. Pretty cool, eh? I’m not sure about the ETA for this set either except it will probably be sometime in January or February.
The last of the so far finished products that I have to show you is this one, Designer Denim for ShaaraMuse3D’s Dynamic Jeans for La Femme 1. Why create an addon for a clothing model for the old La Femme? Well, because it is super easy to use LF1 dynamic clothing on LF2 as if it were made for LF2. Plus, not everyone has LF2 yet so this should be a good seller. I hope. This set includes seven jeans designs along with seven matching designs for the included dynamic shorts. As I mentioned, I have this product finished with all promos rendered. I haven’t decided exactly when to release it though. I’m thinking early February? We shall see!
This set (or sets, I’ll explain shortly) is still being created. The clothing model set I am making textures for this time is LF2 Basics by Afrodite-Ohki and RPublishing. The set includes six clothing models so this is going to be a bit of a big undertaking. That said, I’ve already turned it into a huge undertaking because I’m going to make two different texture sets for this clothing set. One will be a set of athletic style textures for all of the clothing pieces that will be called “Athletica”. The second texture set will be everyday style clothes and that will be called “Simplicity”. Athletic will include a variety of styles that ranging from solids to ombres to maybe metallics all made of stretchy sports fabric. I’m going to make each clothing piece match the others so that you can use whichever top with whichever bottom. I think I wrote that right. I’m not the best at explaining things. The Simplicity set will include regular style t-shirts, jeggings, delicate lingerie, etc. Since I am still in the midst of creating the textures for these sets, I don’t have an ETA for release. I know I won’t get these sets done before February so plan on a release in late February or early March.
I have much, much more planned and/or in the very early stages of creation. I have four new La Femme 2 characters planned and I have just started on one of them. I’ll share more details on those in my next WIP post. I also have plans to create textures for the following clothing models: SummerTime Dress for LF2, Boho Dress 1 for LF2, Dynamic Butterfly for LF2, Gothic Dress 2 for LF2, Premier Dress for LF2, and Winter Coat for LF1.
Oh, I’ll be adding all of my new products to the newly recreated Marketplace Showcase here on D9A. You can also reach the Showcase by clicking on “Products” in the main header menu on this website.
