End of 2025 News
I can’t believe this year is nearly over already! I’ve done… okay… with artwork creation this year, I think. It was certainly a more productive year than 2023 and 2024 in terms of new art. I’ll know for sure once I go through all of my art from this year and get my 2025 art book made featuring my best artworks of this year. I do this every year since 2019. Now, onto the new because there is a LOT.
I have built a brand-new Dream 9 Art website for 2026 that is unlike any of the websites I have built for D9A before. I wanted to do something different given that June 09, 2026 will be Dream 9 Art’s 20th anniversary. Every website I’ve created before for D9A (for the past 19 years) has been based on bold colors (usually bright blue and green) with a black or dark background. This time, I’ve gone for something… lighter… in both color and mood. I even redesigned the Dream 9 Art logo. So, let’s go over some of the website changes…
I did my best to streamline the entire site. I redesigned the artwork posts to show only the most relevant information and all on one page with nothing hidden in sliding boxes. The page to purchase prints and make donations has been split into two separate pages for your convenience, Purchase Prints and Donate. The Information page has been updated with new and updated information. The contact forms actually work now (I will be testing them regularly from now on to make sure that they continue to work). I have enabled the site’s “newsletter” which will notify you via email whenever a new post is published. (There is a subscribe box for the newsletter at the top of the right sidebar on this and other pages.) Some of the art galleries have been renamed and re-sorted. Finally, there are some new artworks here that I didn’t get around to posting on the previous/old Dream 9 Art site. So, please look at the most recent artworks that I’ve posted, like in the Recent Art section on the homepage, and you will see them.
I have also “streamlined” what social media sites I will post on from here on out. I’m sick of reposting my artworks several times for each site each time I create something new and getting hardly any views on some of the platforms. So, now you will only find me on Bluesky, Tumblr, Deviant Art, Facebook, and Threads. I haven’t decided what to do with my old Instagram and other accounts that I’ll no longer be posting to. I may leave them up just for the hell of it. Oh, I still post in the Renderosity gallery too as I need those reward points!
I stated in a few places (including here) that I would no longer be creating commercial content. Well, I changed my mind. Not only that, but I also have two new products now available at Renderosity with a few more to come. You can see all of my currently released content in the Marketplace Showcase. I may post a new WIP post soon showing what all is currently in the works.
I think that’s everything, for now at least. Thank you for viewing and I hope you have a great holiday season!
