End of 2023 WIPs
Ah, the year is almost over but only now am I finally back to work on my art projects in spite of being sick with Covid. (It helps to work on my art. I wish I could code too but that makes my head spin at the moment.) I have a few projects in the works that I hope to release in January 2024 and I will now show them to you. First up are a set of textures for the Boho 3 Dress for La Femme 2. As soon as I saw this dress, I knew I wanted to create textures for it but it took me a while to figure out how to approach it. I finally decided some boho-style florals and colored cotton lace accents is the way to go. At left you can see one of the three textures I’ve created thus far. I plan to make around five or six in total before I call it done. I hope to have this set finished and ready for release sometime in January 2024.
This is Eleanor, my first character set for the new and vastly improved La Femme 2. I sculpted her face morph mainly with Poser’s internal morph tools (it’s kind of like sculpting clay with a brush rather than metal tools in real life). I have to say, I’m rather proud of her dimples that I wasn’t sure I would be able to make look natural. I have most of her skin textures and options finished and have finalized her face morph. I just need to finalize the textures and get everything packaged. I wanted to wait until this Covid has passed before I do all the finalizing and packaging because one of the symptoms I’ve had is brain fog. I don’t want said brain fog to cause me to mess anything up. I hope to have Eleanor finished and ready for release in early January 2024.
That’s all I have that’s ready to show you right now. I do have more planned projects, like textures for some of LF2’s other dynamic dresses, but I haven’t created anything concrete yet.
