Notes

This was supposed to be a very simple scene with which to experiment with HDRI lighting that I could finish in a day. It’s been more like almost three days. The problem? Figure placement, and how they interact with each other. Originally, it was just going to be a scene with the unicorn but then I decided to add the princess. Then I couldn’t decide where in the scene each should be or what they should be doing! After a LOT of trial and error and re-rendering, I finally got what you see here.
Technical Notes

I rendered this scene in Poser 12 with Superfly and no traditional lighting whatsoever. The scene is lit only with a HDRI environment sphere. This led to the scene rendering with a lot of extra noise even on high render settings. I removed all of the noise from the render using the awesome ON1 NoNoise AI 2022 program. In postwork, all I did was increase the brightness and contrast just a bit.
