I originally created an artwork like this back in 2019 but I decided to do it over with the new, final concept of Shelby Bly and her new hair model. It’s also, unlike the original, rendered in Superfly. I love the realistic, and rendered rather than postworked, backlighting of her hair! I also altered her pose from the original so rather than just an ordinary glamour shot, she’s “at the ready” as if she senses danger on the horizon with her hand over her gun. Would she be willing to actually use it though? Probably not willingly but she may yet surprise herself.
