Summer of 2026 News

It’s been an… interesting… year so far of many ups and downs; mostly downs. I’m still feeling somewhat down at the moment, but I’m working on getting better which is why I’m also in the midst of several medication changes and that always messes me up for a while. Although still messed up, I have managed to create several new artworks as of late so please do check out my galleries. (The nine most recent artworks are always featured on the home page.)

Well, for starters, I overhauled the look of the Dream 9 Art website (again) to look a bit more like my personal blog, The Artist in Wonderland. I love the color blue, obviously. I might redo it again for next year. I don’t know. If I do, it won’t be for a few more months. I think. I like to refresh the site each year so I might do that for 2027, but I’m not sure yet.

I am also starting my first(?) series of original artworks with a central theme. The theme? A very colorful and a little psychedelic reimagining of various scenes from Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. At the moment I am currently re-reading the books and I’m taking notes as I read through them both. By the way, I found the most wonderful (no pun intended) website while looking for the original illustrations. It’s a fantastic research resource and you can read both books there for free!
