Satine Kryze

(Royal Gown)

Yet another character yet to be seen in live action so I had to go on was how she looks in the Clone Wars TV series. Actually, I did have one small advantage to making her look like a realistic version of the character. In the behind-the-scenes talk, I found out that they based Satine’s face on the actress Cate Blanchet. So, I mostly sculpted a likeness of Cate Blanchet and then tweaked it as needed to look a touch more like the cartoon version where needed. I originally created this gown for Padme to wear but I didn’t think she looked right in it. So, I switched it on over to Satine and added some more “royal” accessories. It still looked a little too “medieval generic” so changed the color palette and added some Mandalorian and Kryze clan motifs. I plan to do a few more edits to her gown later once I figure out how best to go about it.
