Kylo Ren

Admittedly, the main reason he is masked is because I haven’t started sculpting a facial likeness for him yet! Still, I have used this character in one artwork so far, the appropriately named Kylo Ren. I converted his conforming hip capes to dynamic cloth so that they would drape properly rather than looking like stiff cardboard. His lightsaber is unaltered in postwork, this is how it renders. The “unstable” effect was achieved in the render with displacement. It will still need a little postwork to add the sparks, etc., but I’m quite pleased with how I managed to make it look in a raw render.
