Many, many moons ago at the dawn of the internet age, shortly before the “dot com bust” and “Y2K”…. I had a blog that I made myself (can’t for the life of me remember what it was called, “hippie something” probably) and I also made website graphics for others making their own websites. There was another blogger (this is when blogs were “new”) who also made website graphics although hers were much more ornate and intricate. (To be fair, I was only 13 or 14 at the time). I contacted many of the web graphic designers back then. She was one of the very few to write me back and offer encouragement. I believe her blog was called “Ginkgo’s Pile of Leaves” although her real name was Eve. She was a lovely human being albeit plagued by depression right up until she ended her own suffering in 2002. I’ve been meaning to create a tribute of sorts like this for many years. I finally did.
