Here is the star of this colorful series, the one and only Alice.

After a LOT of trial and error, I finally have my Alice looking just the way I envisioned her. I actually created so many textures for the above seen dress trying to come up with the perfect one, that I took them all and put them into a new commercial product called “Alice’s Closet for Bad Girl Good Girl Fashion” which I hope will be released at Renderosity soon (please check out the Marketplace Showcase for links to all of my latest commercial art products). The boots seen are available in Renderosity’s Free Stuff section although I haven’t decided yet what to do with all of the matching boot textures I came up with when I created all of those dresses. The base character for Alice is my D9S Karina for La Femme 2. She’s what I like to call “a realistic toon” style character.
Alice went through many changes as I went along. I didn’t want her to look like every other Alice, but still be somewhat recognizable as Alice, and I needed her to be as colorful as possible to meet the overall aesthetic I had in mind. She had a different hair model at first which had bangs, but it had so many “pieces” that I had trouble posing it to look the way I needed in my scenes. I went back to the original illustrations and found a hair model in my runtime that looked the most like the original Alice’s hair. The one seen here. I thought about adding an apron but again, I wanted her to be different than all other portrayals in various ways. She originally had mary janes and socks, but they didn’t pose well. I decided to go with the psychedelic, retro route and gave her matching go-go boots instead.
