Healthy Improvements
I finally found out what has been causing me to oversleep; I have been diagnosed with narcolepsy. I was prescribed a new medication to combat the narcolepsy, and it has started to work. I am now able to stay awake for several hours! The only problem is, once I go to sleep, I have an incredibly difficult time waking up enough to get out of bed and take the new medication. I’m not sure how to fix that but I’ll keep working on it. Although I can now stay awake, I still feel mostly miserable. I’m still trying to get out of a depressive episode. I was prescribed a new antidepressant, but I’m still waiting for it to start working. I need to have been taking it for at least two weeks before I can really tell if it’s going to work and it hasn’t been a full two weeks yet. And, to top it all off, I appear to be coming down with some sort of physical illness which is giving me a very sore throat. So yay me!
In spite of the depression and the sleepiness, I have managed to get back to working on my art projects as it does vastly improve my mood to create new art. I started a new series of artworks that is my “colorful” interpretation of scenes from Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. My first three scenes are now up on my official art gallery, Dream 9 Art. I’ll also post previews of them below. More will be added to Dream 9 Art as soon as I create them.
I just finished the promotional renders for my next character release whom I’ve named “Zoe” after a favorite video game character. I submitted her to Renderosity yesterday and am now waiting for her to go through QA testing. Hopefully she gets through QA without any errors but knowing me, there will be a few skin seams to fix. There are almost always seams I need to fix! I plan to work on another Wonderland scene today once I’ve had some more coffee… and maybe some ice cream too. Hey, my throat is hurting bad today and I need some relief! I bought two flavors of ice cream yesterday; classic vanilla and brownie batter cookie dough. They’re both by Hudson and both are excellent.
