The Star Saga
I started my “Star Saga” project late last year, but only now am I in full swing for it. I, as of now, have several characters finished or near finished all of which you can see in the Project Previews gallery. I still have many more characters and variations of those characters to create and complete for my planned scene ideas, but I believe I have enough finished to finally start work on some scenes. I’ll be posting all of my Star Saga scenes in the same gallery on this website as my previous themed artworks (a few of which I plan to improve/do-over): Star Saga. I have several ideas for scenes sketched out in my “notebook of ideas” and keep coming up with more often. If you have any ideas/suggestions for scenes you’d like to see, send me a message or leave a comment and, if I can feel it, I’ll consider adding a sketch to my notebook of ideas to be created. Most of my current ideas center around the Originals era and Prequels era with a couple or so ideas from the Sequels and a few more from the Knights of the Old Republic era. I even have a few “alternate universe” ideas set during the aforementioned eras. We shall see how many of these ideas I am able to bring to life before I hit a burnout!
Due to having so many variations of so many of the needed characters, I changed how I post the newest character concepts in my Project Previews gallery. Now there is only one post per character with all of their applicable variations on the same post plus a few “compilation” posts for characters that do not have any variations. I was wondering, should I expand my credits for items used in each of my character concept previews? I can’t decide. This would be helpful for other Poser users who would like to see my “recipes” although many use textures and morphs which I created myself and have no plans to make publicly available. Let me think about it.
Since not all of my planned ideas are taken direct from the films and series (many would be best classified as “scenes that we know happened but have yet to actually see”), I’m thinking of opening up a writing contest for them. What do I mean? I’ll post my finished scenes, then open up a contest for whoever can write the best story to go along with the scene. This could be a full story or just the dialog that happens at the time of the scene. At the moment, I can think of no prizes other than getting ones’ story posted along with the artwork here and in all of my online galleries. I need think more about it before I start anything.
For now, I am going to get back to work on creating some new scenes with the characters that I have created and finished so far. I finished one scene last night, By the Lake, and hope to have another finished soon. Thank you for viewing!
