Notes
The models for these Card Soldiers came from the same place and by the same artist who created the base model of the Cheshire Cat. Like with that model, I upgraded all four soldiers with subdivision and then repainted parts of their textures to improve them. For some odd reason, the original textures included a bright blue spiral as the back of the cards. It looked so out-of-place to me! I painted over that with a black and gold damask pattern and enhanced the numbers/symbols on their fronts. I then created new Superfly shaders for each of the soldiers and their staffs. Although in the 2010 movie, they only used the Hearts cards, I intend to use a “full deck” in my scenes like in the book.
