Painting the Grove
In honor of Vincent Van Gogh, she paints his beloved olive grove on canvas during the golden hour.

Notes
My favorite series of paintings by Vincent Van Gogh is the Irises series but the Olive Grove series is a close second. This artwork was both inspired by and a tribute to my favorite Van Gogh olive grove painting. The original painting can be seen on the canvas she has just painted in the bottom right corner. I tried to recreate the painting with realistic scenery as close as I could while still making it look aesthetically pleasing yet it turned out having a bit of a surreal look to it. I have to admit, I’m rather proud of this artwork. It turned out far better than I could have hoped.
