Memento Mori

Remember that we all must die; some before others. Not everyone is capable of letting go.

Notes
This is a redux of an earlier artwork that I created around this time in 2019. I’m not entirely sure why I decided to go back and create an improved version, but I did. Although once I decided I was going to redo it, it seemed a perfect project for the month of Halloween. As for how I came up with the original idea for this, I don’t know. That was at least three years ago after all. It’s still not perfect, but I like it considerably more than the first try from 2019.
