A weird and surreal character study of my mad harlequin Hailee.

Notes
This began as a rejected, unpublished promotional artwork for my Hailee character back in 2015. I recently (as of the end of 2016) revisited the scene and started trying to turn it into a new, full artwork. It was a long process as, like when I tried making it a promo image, it never seemed to turn out right. Finally, in March 2017, I figured out the way I wanted the scene to go and finally created my artwork. I think this may be the longest production time ever on one of my artworks until I go back and try to finish some scenes, I left unfinished in 2009. I love the red, black, and gold color scheme which was inspired by her outfit textures, and the posing/perspective is unlike anything I’ve done before.
