Days of Cider
A small group of friends gather to celebrate the recent apple harvest and the beginning of autumn.

Notes
In case you hadn’t noticed by now, I love apples! Apple pie, apple cider, apple turnovers, apple bagels, apple sauce, and just about everything else apple. I also love the season of autumn. So, I created a scene of a group of friends enjoying everything apple as the trees begin to turn in the background. The hardest part of this scene was getting the materials right. I actually looked up what the exact IOR of apple cider is and experimented for several hours trying to get the apple pie filling to look like apple pie filling. Lighting the scene was also a challenge. I at last decided to create two overhead lights and then an ambient skydome which seems to have worked out okay.
