The Finishing Touch

As she puts the finishing touch on her child’s Halloween costume, the boy is more than ready to go “trick or treat” and fill his plastic cauldron with lots of candy.

Notes
I created this artwork for the 2020 Renderosity Halloween Contest. The theme for this year is “Costumes, Cauldrons, and Concoctions.” You can create up to three entries this year and this is my first which tackles both the “costume” and the “cauldron” themes. Most of the entries posted already were typical Halloween gothic horror or the like. I decided to go a different direction and do something modern and slightly cute so my entry would stand out. I hope it works! I also wish to thank my mom for nitpicking the hell out of this scene for me and telling me everything I did wrong so I could fix it and make it into the scene it is now. Thanks, Mom!
