Waiting for Santa
She eagerly waits to catch a glimpse of Santa bringing presents, but is he out there waiting for her to go to sleep before delivering them?

This is a total recreation of an idea I first had in 2018. The idea was a child waiting for Santa to arrive and bring the presents. The first attempt at this idea (back in 2018) never sat right with me. I had wanted to put Santa looking in through the window but that looked creepy. I couldn’t think of anything else at the time either. Also, there was no chimney in the original scene. So, I made a new and vastly improved artwork with this concept. I put a reindeer in the window to represent Santa being there, waiting. It doesn’t look creepy at all, I don’t think. All of the scene’s light is projected from the fire in the fireplace. Not sure how Santa will navigate said fire when he comes down… maybe magic?
