Getting Out & Going All In
Well, I’ve finally made some decisions. I’ve been thinking about this for quite a while now. After my last three products failed to sell but a few copies each, I’ve decided to quit the 3D content creation game. It just isn’t worth it anymore. This niche 3D market has lost its niche. It’s also lost me. I’ll still create my artworks, of course, from time to time. I’ll never give up my art! But creating new content to sell? Nope. Not anymore. I refuse to continue wasting my time for little to no reward. So, Dream 9 Art will continue for as long as I am alive. The products of Dream 9 Studios?? Those will not continue. I’ll leave my old products in the store for whoever still wants them but nothing new will be created for Renderosity. At least I think I will. Hmm… might be better to close out that thing and let them throw a “going away” sale.
I still want to continue my big Star Wars fan art project (which I have been calling “Star Saga“) and I will. All in due time. Right now, I’m quite busy creating for something that actually matters and that people actually appreciate and utilize. What’s that? Read on!
I’ve resumed creating mods for The Sims 4 which everyone can find right now at Simularity! I’ve been getting more and more recognition in the Sims community and that means a lot to me. Who doesn’t want their work to be appreciated?? I’m still earning donations on Patreon, more so since I started the early access program, and I make some ad revenue each month as well. My mods are also getting better with more features than ever before. My career mods were always some of the biggest and most involved mods but I’m now making them even bigger! My next career mod is going to be my most ambitious yet with a ton of new features.
