It took me a while to figure this one out. I tried several different figures until I remembered this one from many years ago that was located at (where I bought it) the now defunct Content Paradise (I also think this figure is now at Renderosity, although I’m not certain about that). I was able to significantly enhance the model with subdivision, new textures, and some new very creative Superfly shaders which include micro-displacement. The transparency effects you see in the concept preview were not done in postwork! This is a RAW RENDER, and it was all done with new maps and shaders. Since my initial concept, I gave him new thicker whisker props and whitened his teeth. Finally, I added some emission shader nodes to his eyes so that they have a real glow to them.
