Summer of 2026 WIP
I have a few new projects planned for my store over at Renderosity plus a couple things for Renderosity’s Free Stuff section and some new tutorials and more! Here are some previews what I have in the works:
When I was trying to perfect the outfit for my upcoming Alice in Wonderland series of artworks (more on that later), I created several textures for Biscuits’ Bad Girl Good Girl Fashion dress. After a nudge from a friend, I decided to release all of the textures I created (6 or 7, I think) as a Prime product at the Renderosity Marketplace. The dress is originally for V4 but can also be used on La Femme 2. I created matching textures for a pair of free boots for LF2. I haven’t decided what to do with those yet. I’ve completed all of the needed textures. I just need to save the material presets, package it all up, and render promos. I’m going to call it “Alice’s Closet” since that’s what this basically is. LOL
This is my still in-the-works character for La Femme 2 and will probably be my next release (after Alice’s Closet seen above) as long as I don’t run into any problems. I haven’t named her yet, but I have almost finished sculpting her face and body morphs. If I can manage, I hope to have her finished later this month. I still need to create all of her texture options and then finalize them. So, there is quite a bit of more work yet to do.
This is another character I’ve been working on for quite a while. I actually thought I had her finished back in… December 2025! There was/is a problem with the face morph though. I’m still trying to fix it! I do have all of her textures finished along with everything else. I didn’t realize there was an issue until I started rendering the promos. So, whether this character, Maia, will ever make it to the store or not is all dependent on whether I can fix her morph issues. I might have to start over completely with my sculpting. I don’t know for sure yet. I asked a friend to do some testing on her for me. Once I hear back from her, I’ll decide what to do.
This is one of the clothing texture sets that I’m working on. This is a set of steampunk style textures for anniemation’s LaPunk for La Femme 2. So far, I only have this one texture mostly finished. I need to make a matching set of textures for the included boots (which I forgot about) and then several more sets of textures. So, much work yet to do. I might have this one done sometime next month. Maybe.
I also have a couple freebies in the works! In the preview render at the top of this page, you can see my D9S Nicola 3 for V4 character with Superfly shaders. I plan to release these updated shaders in Free Stuff and for all past purchasers of Nicola, if I can. I will also be releasing a set of free metallic nail polishes for Superfly and Victoria 4. You can see a preview of those at right. They are similar to my Free Stuff offering of Superfly Nail Polish for La Femme 2 but with a few alterations for V4. Both of these will be released very soon; either this week or the next.
I also have a couple new tutorials planned that I had started on a while back and just need to finish writing and tighten them up a bit. One is about how to fit V4 dynamic clothing onto La Femme 2. The other is a quick trick for using transparency maps in with Superfly’s Cycles nodes. These should both be ready soon and will be posted here on this website in the Tutorials section.
As I mentioned in my most recent News post, I am working on a series of artworks with a central theme. That theme is basically my take on Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass with a psychedelic/very colorful look and feel. The preview you see at left is an early test render of one of the planned scenes. (It also shows one of the other dresses in Alice’s Closet that I am working on.) I have ideas, so far, for about 18 different scenes. Now that I have my Alice character and outfit finally finalized, I will start work on the first few of these scenes either later today or tomorrow (got to finish those aforementioned commercial projects too).
That’s all(?) for now. I need to get back to work so I can finish all of these projects! Thank you for viewing and I hope to see you next time!
